Waysun acquires majority stake in Boss Bunny Games to run MENAT publishing business | Pocket Gamer.biz

The US full-service entertainment and games company Waysun Inc. has acquired a majority stake in Boss Bunny Games, a mobile games company, for an undisclosed amount.

After the acquisition, Boss Bunny will serve as the publishing division of Waysun in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey (MENAT).

The acquisition marks Waysun’s first expansion at MENAT and is part of its strategy to become a global industry leader.

In addition, Boss Bunny chairman Aziza Alhamadi will take over the management of co-founder Geraint Bungay. As a member of the Boss Bunny Board, Bungay will continue to provide support.

Boss Bunny was founded in 2020 and has a head office in Dubai and an additional office in Abu Dhabi, with further offices planned for the future. The studio currently has six games released on the App Store, Google Play, and Huawei’s App Gallery, including Camel Dash and Wall Smash.
