Sony and Microsoft join Nintendo’s Doug Bowser in Activision’s conviction

Doug Bowser, head of Nintendo of America, has joined Sony and Microsoft in convicting Activision Blizzard, according to a leaked image obtained from Fanbyte.

According to Bowser’s email, Nintendo representatives have contacted the Call of Duty publisher and taken action.

With all of you, I have followed the latest developments at Activision Blizzard and the ongoing reports of sexual harassment and toxicity across the company. I find these reports worrying and worrying. They contradict both my values and Nintendo’s beliefs, values and guidelines.

Every company in the industry must create an environment in which everyone is respected and treated equally, and in which everyone understands the consequences of not doing so.

Nintendo did not comment on the email other than that it was indeed legitimate.

Earlier this week, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick allegedly said he would resign from the company if he couldn’t quickly fix ongoing problems at the publishing giant. Kotick himself was accused of being aware of the company’s misconduct but refused to act on it.
