Upcoming kung fu action game Sifu will now be released on February 8, 2022, two weeks earlier than planned on PlayStation. Originally, the game was supposed to be released in 2021.
Sifu is a martial arts action game from developer Sloclap, the studio behind the action game Absolver, that’s coming to PlayStation and PC. The game was originally scheduled to appear on consoles and PCs in late 2021, but has been postponed to early 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sloclap says that Sifu is being pushed because progress is going well while the studio is getting the game in shape to deliver. Along with this release date update, PlayStation is announcing two brand new gameplay videos showing more of the title that will be released on PlayStation networks today.

While SifuThe new launch announcement will focus on the PS4, PS5, and will also be released on PCs through the Epic Games Store. The updated release date will be shared from the PC port with the game’s Epic Games Store listing, which states that it will appear in the PC Marketplace on February 8th, 2022.
Since the release date has been moved closer to early February, Sifu joins a packed month of games that will help kick off a busy year 2022. Games like Elden RinG, Horizon Forbidden West, and the new one Destiny 2: The Witch Queen Expansion is falling this month, which is great news for gamers – but bad news for their wallets.
