Thymesia is an upcoming action-adventure game that puts you in the role of the toughest disease doctor in the world, using diseases turned into weapons to fight enemies. The fast-paced action RPG has heavy Dark Souls vibes and should be released on December 7th. Unfortunately, this will no longer be the case as Thymesia will now hit the market sometime in 2022.
Developer OverBorder Studio conditions Thymesia wants to be razor-sharp for its big debut and therefore leaves it in the oven for a while. On the plus side, it has been announced that the game will hit PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S after only confirming the PC in the past.
Thymesia plays Corvus, a plague doctor who is half human, half raven. He is on a mission to regain his lost memories while slaying the atrocities that lurk in his dark kingdom. The fight is fast-paced and tough, emphasizing aggression and agility thanks to a quick evasive maneuver. Corvus can draw disease from enemies and then turn them into weapons like a scythe or sword. He can also use his raven shape to unleash dagger-like feathers. You can customize Corvus to your liking thanks to multiple character builds as well as different endings to encourage replayability.
