Maneater celebrates 5 million player milestone with ray tracing update

shARkPG. by Tripwire Interactive Man eater has hit a new milestone of 5 million players, and to celebrate this, a new update has been released that adds ray tracing for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players. The update also improves stability and performance on all platforms.

Since the publication of the Maneater: Truth Quest August DLC, the action-RPG that puts players in the shoes of a shark, has attracted more than 5 million players. Because of this, Tripwire believes the milestone is the perfect time to add ray tracing. The graphics upgrade improves the real-time reflections on the surface of the water along the Gulf Coast, as well as the refractions that players see when looking at the surface from below.
