A new leak suggests it Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific could get some of the franchise’s most high-profile crossovers to date: Marvel hero Captain America – yes, Steve Rogers himself – and archeological treasure hunter Indiana Jones. According to a couple of datamined text strings in vanguard Files will be received by these two operators as part of an “American Heroes” event.

While S4 appears to be indicating that the event will happen on season four (not expected before June), the leaker / dataminer makes it clear that S4 is code for vanguard, where S is Sledgehammer and 4 is your fourth game. There are also seemingly works of art for player cards related to these two potential Operator Packs that we won’t be releasing as many have received a deactivation request for them (which ironically seems to legitimize the veracity of the leak).
Tom Henderson confirmed the leaked Datamine, adding that Disney (which owns both Captain America and Indiana Jones) and Activision have had talks about possible partnerships, but notes that the details of the event’s impact are still vague.

Both Captain America and Indiana Jones would feel right at home in it vanguard and Warzone Pacifics World War II scenes and heroic themes, both Nazi puncher who despise fascists. The notable names could also be a huge adrenaline rush for both of them vanguard and get people to try the new free-to-play Warzone Pacific and its caldera map. This datamined leak comes shortly after text strings have been found that allude to a crossover attack on Titan, as well as the Krampus operator that we will get for Christmas.
All of this is unconfirmed at this point, but it comes from reputable leakers and dataminers with solid track records of getting this type of stuff right. Sledgehammer is currently marching towards season one, but we should hear more as December approaches.
