At the end of last month, we announced that Final Fantasy V: Pixel Remaster would be coming to the Play Store in November. And now it has. We are basically fortune tellers. Basically.
The game is the fifth of six Pixel Remasters. They are basically revamped versions of the original Final Fantasy games with slightly tweaked pixel graphics and new interfaces to make them more palatable to modern audiences.
As with the other games in the series, this one also offers an optimized touchscreen interface, a rearranged soundtrack and auto-battle options. Trailer time.
The game also offers some additional extras such as a bestiary, picture gallery and soundtrack player. So that’s pretty cool if you enjoy looking at and / or hearing things.
Final Fantasy V: Pixel Remaster is a premium version and you can click here to download it from the Play Store. It’ll cost you $ 17.99, and that’s a one-time upfront payment. There are no IAPs.
There’s one more Pixel remaster out there – surprisingly, Final Fantasy VI – and we’ll keep you posted as we learn more about the upcoming release.
