AudioMob raises $ 14 million at a valuation of $ 110 million | Pocket Gamer.biz

AudioMob, the audio advertising solutions company, has raised $ 14 million following a Series A funding round.

The round was led by Makers Fund and Lightspeed Venture Partners and included the involvement of Sequoia Capital and Google, among others.

Founded in 2020, AudioMob has partnered with leading brands like Intel, Jeep and KitKat and music artists like Ed Sheeran and Nas.

Funding came following the company’s recent expansion, which saw the opening of offices in London and Abu Dhabi.

The raised funds will be used to expand the recently established offices and develop more experimental audio technology.

“Upheaval in the industry”

“We are delighted that investors are enthusiastic about AudioMob’s vision for long-term success and our future,” said AudioMob CEO Christian Facey.

“We are on the verge of rejuvenating an entire industry with audio, and now we are in a position to build our technology and team to make sure we are revolutionizing the industry in the right way and making sure we eventually become a unicorn future technology industry. “

AudioMob was valued at $ 110 million due to its exponential growth, customer adoption, and advances in research and development.

Wilfrid Obeng, AudioMob’s Chief Technical Officer, added, “For the past two years we have focused on listening to our customers, collecting feedback and improving our audio technology and products.

“We understand that consumers don’t want to be interrupted, advertisers want their ads to be heard, and game developers want to make sure monetization doesn’t affect customer loyalty. And now we have developed products that meet all three needs. “

The advertising solutions company recently released a study that suggests that 75 percent of consumers prefer audio advertising in games.
