Pokémon TCG Live Launch Postponed to 2022 | Pocket Gamer.biz

The Pokémon Company has postponed the launch of Pokémon TCG Live until 2022.

At the imminent release, the game would have launched in Canada for mobile and a global beta on PC.

Pokémon TCG Live was originally launched in September and marks the first time the Pokémon TCG is playable on mobile devices.

The Pokémon Company used social media to correct the delay, saying the release was “postponed” to give players a “more polished” experience.

Polishing process

To give Trainers a more sophisticated experience, Pokémon TCG Live’s soft mobile launch in Canada and the global open beta for desktops have been postponed to 2022, ”said the Pokémon Company (via Twitter).

“We’ll be sharing more information about when this trial period and the full launch of Pokémon TCG Live will be available soon.”

The company continued, “In addition, some of you may have recently received code cards with the live Pokémon TCG as part of some Pokémon TCG products. Although the Pokémon Trading Card Game Live is not currently available, please note that these cards can still be redeemed in the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online. “

Elsewhere, the producers of Pokémon Masters EX described new updates to the mobile title in a recent developer letter, including changes to co-op play and in-app bundles.
