You could consider yourself a Yes, really serious Pokémon Fan, because you own all of the games, plus a couple of plush toys and a (totally unironic) Ash Ketchum cap, but if you’re really committed to the brand, you’ll have to get your game up to $ 25,000 because The Pokémon Company took on that French crystal manufacturer Baccarat teamed up to present a trio of special collectibles to mark the 25th anniversary of the monster catch series.
At the lower end of the scale, there’s a 5.7-inch Pikachu figurine for $ 440, as well as a crystal Poké Ball that is 2.7 “that will make you a cool $ 410.
The heart of the collection, however, is the 11.8-inch “Pikachu Fragment”, designed by Hiroshi Fujiwara. Only 25 of these are made, and it costs a whopping $ 25,000. My goodness.
