The Jon amiibo clock is officially on.
This week, Guillaume opens the show with a look at Dungeon Crawler / Dating Sim Boyfriend Dungeon. We have a literal “man who just played persona” moment and he concludes that he is on the verge of falling out of the game. Greg has a 12 year old’s fever dream: Cruis’n Blast. It’s a racing game with UFOs and dinosaurs. It’s like Excite Truck, but without all the reluctance. Jon agrees with James (once again) by breaking his week-old vow not to buy amiibo anymore. This time around, he has the Monster Hunter Rise set that listeners will remember, he had already pre-ordered it and then canceled it. James completes New Business by closing Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars. Stay tuned for the inevitable sequel.
After a pause, we dive into Listener Mail. This week we’re debating what indie means, finding out which game we’ve bought the most, and making SP versions of N64 games for the Switch Online Expansion Pack. You can create our SP version by sending an email.
