Japanese Charts: Mario Party Superstars climbs to the top in a busy week for new releases

Famitsu’s Japanese charts are now up for the week ending October 31st, showing Mario Party Superstars jumped straight to number one.

The game sold an estimated 163,256 physical copies in its opening week in Japan and managed to fend off several newcomers that were released this week. Other new titles included Super Robot Wars 30, which sold better than PS4 on Switch, and Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, which did the opposite.

Nintendo’s usual fan favorites round out the top ten, with Switch occupying seven of the top ten spots.

In the hardware charts, after a strong week last week, the switch OLED has now fallen below the original model in the pecking order, with the switch family achieving a total of around 75,000 sales. Here are this week’s numbers, followed by the lifetime sales in brackets:
