The EA Sports PGA Tour will not go green as promised next spring. EA has announced that its upcoming return to golf will come at a later date.
When exactly? It is not very clear. EA Sports PGA Tour never had a specific release date, however EA’s statement just explains that it will postpone the launch to a later date and that it will tell us more about it later. The full explanation is as follows:
The EA Sports PGA Tour marks the publisher’s comeback to golf after a year-long hiatus. The game already has exclusive rights to the Master’s Tournament and offers the PGA Championship, US Open Championship and The Open Championship. The game will also highlight the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and feature one of their respective tournaments, the Amundi Evian Championship.
In other recent delay news, Marvel’s Midnight Suns has been postponed to the later half of 2022, Platinum Games arcade shooter Sol Cresta will now launch next year, and both Overwatch 2 and Diablo IV may not arrive until 2023 at the earliest.
