All PlayStation players watch out, it’s time to stand up on all fronts as Call of Duty: Vanguard is almost here! Experience an epic international campaign, a unique Call of Duty multiplayer battle and a zombies crossover on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 starting November 5th, marking the continuation of the Dark Aether saga for the first time in the franchise.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is full to the brim with content at the start: Experience the heroic moments of Task Force One in the impressive single player campaign, experience 20 maps in multiplayer mode (including 16 developed for the core game) and the all-new Champion Hill mode and fight the undead hordes in a first crossover zombies experience in the franchise as the Dark Aether story continues in The Beginning.
November 5th, however, is just the beginning for Vanguard. Players can expect the content to continue playing.
Read on for details on the content that will be released on its way to Season 1 and learn more about the all-new Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific – Caldera map. In addition, as just announced, Vanguard owners will have the opportunity to receive exclusive first-play access to Caldera for 24 hours from December 2nd.
With that said, let’s take a look at what will arrive shortly after launch.
Delivery starts for free in November
Vanguard’s content loss continues after its launch in the days leading up to season one.
At the top of this stack of free content is Shipment, the classic frenetic multiplayer experience redesigned for Vanguard and slated for November 17th. Newbies and veterans alike can prepare for a new version of the map that Call of Duty fans have entertained for over a decade.
Deploy in Caldera in Warzone Pacific
Lush forests and rocky cliffs. White sandy beaches and mysterious ruins. A dormant volcano with over 200 sights. The new Caldera map is just the beginning of Vanguard’s full integration into Warzone. The design of Caldera is roughly the size of Verdansk and is based on two years of research and community feedback.
Vanguard Royale mode – and later Vanguard Plunder mode – will be available to all players in Season 1 and will showcase all new content from the Season 1 update, including weapons and vehicles such as double-deckers and anti-aircraft trucks.
All of your Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare operators, calling cards, and more will stay in Warzone Pacific.
As mentioned above, Caldera kicks off on December 2nd at 9:00 a.m. PT with exclusive 24-hour maiden game access for Vanguard owners. Then it kicks off for all players on December 3rd at 9:00 a.m. PT.
