Over the years, Stardew Valley ($ 4.99) by Eric Barone (ConcernedApe) has continued to improve. After its debut on PC, it hit consoles and mobile platforms. The iOS and Android versions have improved a lot since launch and the game itself is currently in a good place on any platform. With the Stardew Valley Update 1.5 has arrived on PC and console platforms, bringing a plethora of new content including endgame expansions, quality of life features, split screen co-op, the ability to move beds, a new beach farm, expanded game options, and much more Eric said he was focusing on his next project. Today, he announced Haunted Chocolatier for pc. Haunted Chocolatier is a simulation RPG in which you play as a chocolatier who lives in a haunted castle. It’s 100% confirmed for PC only right now, but it intends to bring it to all major platforms. Watch them Haunted Chocolatier early gameplay video below:
We don’t yet know if Haunted Chocolatier will be on the phone for sure, but I hope it does. It’s currently only being developed by Eric Barone, and he says he’ll get outside help with localization and console ports. Haunted Chocolatier is self-published. It doesn’t have a release window yet and is in early development. He also says the gameplay is similar to that Stardew Valley in a way, but in many ways it isn’t.
