Bethesda detailed the first major update to its PlayStation 5 exclusive console title Deathloop, aptly titled Game Update 1, and it’s now live in the game.
It brings a host of fixes, bug squashes, and more. It’s around 5GB on PS5 and 11GB on PC, and it’s mostly focused on things like stability in gameplay and new options for gamers. Trophy hunters will be pleased that Game Update 1 fixes issues related to unlocking the Oops the bronze trophy and the silver trophy of the death anniversary suit.
“Game Update 1 improves various aspects of the game experience, camera smoothness and NPC behavior.” Bethesda’s Patch Notes blog post read. “It also fixes several issues that could cause the game to crash.”
Regarding changes to NPC behavior, the NPC paths and responses to Colt have been improved. It also emphasized the reactions of Aleksis Dorsey, which Bethesda said will make it easier for players to identify him among his party guests.
Elsewhere in the patch notes, Bethesda says this new update will add a calibration screen to the game’s options for HDR. It also adds a new on-screen bad connection indicator that lets players know if their online connection is shaky (which hinders possible invasions from Julianna). Other changes include improved DualSense controller vibrations, improved audio mixing, and some fixes to the behavior of laser mines, turrets, and fireworks for Colt and Julianna players.
