Brewster’s Coffee Shop is returning to Animal Crossing New Horizons alongside older features

Today’s Animal Crossing New Horizons Direct confirmed that Brewster’s coffee shop The Roost is coming to the islands alongside new features in the game, and will be returning from previous Animal Crossing games on November 5th.

Nintendo hinted that The Roost would find its way into Animal Crossing New Horizons when it announced today’s direct title a few weeks ago, and now Brewster’s return has been confirmed. Fans familiar with this Vogel cafe will recognize everything you can do at The Roost, although it offers some fun additions.

For starters, Brewster will make you coffee while you sit in The Roost’s Bar, and your neighbors will come over to you on occasion. Additionally, amiibo cards and figures can be used to invite characters to The Roost and some of them can even bring their own friends. You, online friends, residents and amiibo visitors can enjoy the coffee shop at the same time.

Another new Animal Crossing New Horizons feature announced during today’s Direct was Kapp’n, a frog who owns a boat. They will serenade you with shanties on the blue ocean as they take you to “a hidden gem that only Kapp’n knows”. On this hidden island, you may find mysterious flora, islands at different times of the year, environments at different times of the day, and more.

Animal Crossing New Leaf fans have probably been surprised at what Harv’s Photo Island will become, as it is essentially taking over the central mall of this 3DS title. His photo studio will still be present, but Harv is using his island to create a new space for new and returning characters.

You can add Bells to speed up Harvs Plaza’s development and in no time you’ll be seeing people like Cryus the furniture maker alongside Katrina unveiling your fortune for the day. Other business owners showcased during Direct include Harriet who can give you new hairstyles to use on your island, tortimers, and more.

New Leaf fans will also enjoy the return of Gyroids. While digging cracks in the ground sometimes still brings fossils to the surface, players can now find Gyroid Fragments. Pour these and let them grow into gyroids overnight, then display them anywhere you want. Gyroids are strange devices that make strange noises (sometimes in tune with the music that may be playing) and come in many shapes and sizes.

A new feature that will make life on the island a lot easier is the addition of ordinances. This allows you to control when your neighbors are out and about. For example, if you choose a morning prescription that would be great for someone who can only play New Horizons in the morning, your islanders will be spending their time outside and waking up in the morning (instead of any other time of day).

Joining regulations in the “new” category of announcements today is cooking. Players can now collect DIY recipes and create new ones by combining homemade ingredients like tomatoes, wheat, sugar cane, potatoes, carrots and more to create delicious meals that can be displayed in kitchens, living rooms, parks and really anywhere. d like.
