Heart Machine’s Solar Ash has been postponed.
Originally scheduled for October 26th, Heart Machine and publisher Annapurna Interactive announced today that Solar Ash will be released on December 2nd. The studio says it will take more time to improve the game and fix some bugs.
Announced during the PlayStation 5 event last July, Solar Ash was revealed as a fast-paced 3D platformer with boss fights inspired by Shadow of the Colossus. It’s Heart Machine’s next game after its critically acclaimed Hyper Light Drifter.
In it, players control Rei, a space bunker who explores alien planets for resources, artifacts and more as he traverses environments using roller-skating-like mechanics. Rice’s world is threatened by a massive black hole called the Ultra Void, and she must work her way through this hole to save all she knows.
It will be released on December 2nd on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
