TThe new Sideways anomalies introduced at the start of Fortnite Season 8 are ridiculously overwhelmed. It is for this reason that you need to visit these anomalies.
Fortnite Season 8 is off to an odd start. While the last few seasons had themes that were easy to understand, season 8 is a black swan.
With Cubed being the season 8 cover theme, a number of Kevin Cubes have popped up across the map. As in Chapter 1, these dice roll across the map, leaving destruction behind. But there’s more to the madness of this season.
Epic Games has also introduced the new Sideways biomes. These are Zit-lit bubbles that appear on the map and are infested with dangerous creatures. However, the Sideways Anomalies are smaller biomes that are groundbreaking additions to Fortnite.
What are side anomalies in Fortnite?
There are two ways players can enter The Sideways in Fortnite Season 8. The first and most popular is The Sideways biome, which is displayed on one of the POIs at the start of each game. These biomes do not go away and are heavily populated by players and monsters.
The Sideways biomes, however, aren’t as accessible or rewarding as the Sideways Anomalies. Lateral anomalies are shown as purple, crack-like markers on the map, and there are always three on the map.
When approached, the cracks widen and create a smaller sideways biome. Cube Monsters begin to spawn and players can spend a little time in the anomaly before it closes. Once the side anomaly is closed, another will appear on the map.
Why Lateral Anomalies Are Overwhelmed
Aside from the larger Sideways biome, players tend to ignore the Fortnite Sideways anomalies. However, players should visit every Sideways Anomaly they can. Here is a list of reasons why players should visit the Sideways Anomalies.
- Siphon health from Cube Monster Eliminations
- Get maximum ammo from Cube Monsters easily
- Easy way to get Mythic Sideways Weapons
Every time a player kills a dice monster, they gain health and shield. And since the Cube Monsters are easy to kill, players can gain full health and shield super quickly. Also, Cube Monsters drop a lot of ammo when eliminated.
Players can also receive overwhelming Mythic Sideways weapons after visiting 1 or 2 Sideways Anomalies. But what makes this one so overwhelming is the small number of players that visit it.
Yes, you can take advantage of all of these great Sideways biomes, but you’re unlikely to run into an opponent at Fortnite Sideways Anomalies. Having a biome all to yourself doesn’t make preparation so easy.
