Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost is now live, featuring haunted sectors and loads of candy

Bungie announced that the Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost Event is now live as a free event for all Shared World Shooter players, and this year it’s a little different with Haunted Sectors.

Here are the facts about the Haunted Sectors:

An Exo and a Vex spirit have merged into something new, a guardian on Nessus is hunted for his spirit and headless creatures roam the dark abysses of the moon. Grab your favorite mask, join a task force and embark on three new terrorist stories.

Meanwhile, there’s also a new Jurassic Pulse Rifle for Guardians, which is essentially a makeover of the Lincoln Green pulse rifle with a scaly makeover. You have to earn candy to unlock this weapon by playing the Haunted Sectors described above.

These aren’t the only dinosaur-themed treats up for grabs. Destiny 2 features new armor and ornaments, with Titans getting a T-Rex set, warlocks unlocking Triceratops-themed items, and hunters harnessing the power of the Velociraptor.

Guardians can also get some additional cosmetic items, including a spider sparrow, green ghost clam, and a Savathun-themed ship. These can be earned simply by participating in the Festival of the Lost or purchased from the Everversum store.

Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost is now live on PS5, PS4, PC, Google Stadia, Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One and will run until November 2nd, 2021.
