Madden 22’s ongoing roadmap will be “a little less ambitious” than it has been in the past

Fans shouldn’t expect too many big content drops for Madden 22. Speaking to IGN about Madden 22’s rocky start, Executive Producer Seann Graddy spoke about the roadmap for Madden 22 and beyond, saying that new modes are not currently a priority.

“I would say [the roadmap is] probably a little less ambitious than in the last few years because we’re really focusing on some core areas of Madden 22 and we’re starting Madden 23 on a large scale, “says Graddy.” So I’ll stand by what we’ve always said the last couple of years Years: We’re a live service and we will keep updating the game, but we definitely won’t be talking about a brand new mode. “

In the past, developers removed new modes and features in free updates for the game. These include features like Superstar KO, an arcade mode that has proven popular with casual gamers.

A big change the team ensured was adding scouting to the Franchise mode. The much-requested feature was postponed in September but was added as part of the major October title update available today.
