As you may have seen, today marks the 20th anniversary of Capcom’s Ace Attorney franchise. It all started when the first Phoenix Wright title was released on the Game Boy Advance in Japan on October 12, 2001. And although we didn’t get to see the series here in the West until 2005, we’ve been big fans of the court-based visual novel series ever since.
To celebrate this special occasion, Capcom has launched a website for the 20th anniversary of the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney series that includes a message from the developers who thank the fans for their support and pledge their support for the series to continue in the future. As part of this, some anniversary initiatives are also detailed – including some event details and memorials for Japan.
Back in July, Capcom shared a poll for fans to share their thoughts on the latest release The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles and the series in general. One question in particular was whether fans would buy a new Great Ace Attorney game when it was released in the future.
