One of the standout releases on the Nintendo Switch this year was the upgraded version of the original Quake Title that celebrates 25 years of id Software’s first person arena shooter.

The game received its “first major update” for the Switch and several other platforms last week, but one thing you may have overlooked is that the mouse and keyboard are now fully supported on Nintendo’s hybrid platform – so you can play the game with its OG controls play style.

When Quake hit the Nintendo Switch in August, we praised it as a “feature-rich remaster” and gave it an excellent 10 out of 10 stars. It includes a plethora of online and co-op options, a new expansion from MachineGames, and much more.
