We’re excited to reveal the five industry insiders who will be sharing their mobile game monetization secrets via video this month.

PocketGamer.biz’s free RoundTable series returns on Tuesday October 19th with an exploration of the winning monetization mix in 2022 in partnership with AdInMo.

According to our survey on PocketGamer.biz Mobile Games Developer Trends 2021, a quarter of mobile game developers will try at least one new monetization method in the next six months.

In this upcoming RoundTable, expert speakers will share their insights on why it is so important to continuously evolve your monetization strategy and what they think is the right monetization strategy for different models and game genres.

This session will cover trends such as ad personalization, research eCPM increases for advertising, and increasing developer demand for better control over ads in games.

With more than a third of developers opting for Continuous Ads, the online panel will dive deep into in-game advertising and what to look for as you test out new immersive ad formats in your game.

The RoundTable will be moderated by Brian Baglow, Editor-in-Chief of PocketGamer.biz.

Kristan Rivers: CEO & Founder, AdInMo
Kristan has worked at the intersection of entertainment and technology for two decades, holding senior positions at companies such as Paramount Pictures, Apple and Flaregames. In addition to content creation and distribution, he has spent much of his career in licensing and intellectual property. This background led him to think about integrated brand experiences in mobile games. In 2017 he co-founded the monetization platform AdInMo.

In this RoundTable, the speakers will provide insights into why it is important to develop your monetization strategy further and which monetization strategy is the right one for different models and genres.

Tianyi Gu: Telecommunications and Cellular Services Leader, Newzoo
Tianyi Gu is Market Lead Telecom & Mobile Services at Newzoo, the leading provider of data and intelligence for games and esports. She is the Product Owner of the Newzoo Global Mobile Market Report, a pioneering guide to navigating the mobile ecosystem with market analysis and forecasting. Tianyi is Newzoo’s expert on the Chinese game market.

Alex Olthoff: Head of MAS Customer Product, Yodo1
Alex is Head of MAS Customer Product at the mobile games publisher Yodo1. He created the developer support team to ensure developers had a great customer experience. Today he works to deliver a first-class product experience to MAS (Managed Ad Services) customers around the world.

Michal Hablovič: Lead monetization of ads, Pixel Federation
Michal Hablovič is Ad Monetarization Lead for the Slovak developer and publisher Pixel Federation. Michal has successfully increased his advertising revenue share in Pixel Federation from 0 to over 30%. Michal joined Pixel Federation in 2014 as a game producer and was responsible for the Pixel Federation web platform. Based on his marketing and engineering experience, one of his first successful steps was introducing ads (banners and interstitials) to non-paying users. His understanding of the potential impact of ad monetization led him to pursue this workspace – he now oversees and optimizes all aspects of ad monetization within the Pixel Federation.

Anton Wolnych: Head of Developer Partnerships, SayGames
Working with some of the world’s biggest game titles, Anton has led development teams and built distribution companies. At SayGames, he is responsible for expanding the company’s developer partner network and ensuring the developers’ success in prototyping, developing and operating hyper-casual games. SayGames is a leading hypercasual game publisher with over 40 games launched and over 2 billion game downloads with offices in Minsk, Kiev, Limassol and Barcelona.
