eFootball update is slated to be released in late October to fix various issues with the game

Konami is in an odd place as it was the only publisher to release what many consider to be some of the best games ever and with the release of eFootball They released the worst-rated game of all time on Steam – although an upcoming update is planned for October 28, 2021 hopes to start fixing that.

eFootball is the new free-to-play approach to sports titles, while instead of having an annual release, all you have to do is play the one game that will be updated with new mechanics, roster and content over time. It sounds like this could be the path of the future for sports titles, but a very bad release drastically spoiled that idea.

Konami have now apologized twice for the state of the game by announcing the update’s release date and hopefully they won’t feel like apologizing again for fixing the game issues. Although seeing how much is wrong with it, it can take a while.
