The skin store for Rusty console edition is finally here! October 7th marks the release of our first content update, which will add new monuments to the game and the ability to customize your look through our exciting cosmetics shop!
Skins will be available in packs on a specific theme, but players can also purchase them individually if they wish. Each package contains 5 or 6 unique individual cosmetic items like the Shinobi package shown in the picture above! Buying the full set as a bundle is cheaper than buying each skin individually, but it’s up to the player to decide how to do it.
Skin packs are divided into three different tiers, namely Common, Rare and Epic. When released, Common Packs cost 450 Rust Coins, Rares 1000 Rust Coins, and Epic Packs cost 2000 Rust Coins. Rarity levels are set by packs and not by each skin individually.
The themes typically run in the store for the duration of the monthly update, with new sets of items being released every two weeks (plus special one-time packs added to the mix).
In the store’s main menu, you can scroll through the collections to see which packs better suit your style. Choose wisely!
You also have the option to inspect the collection and review all of the individual skins in it, so you can only buy the skins that you like the most.
You can also check out each item individually with a full 360 ° 3D rendering before buying it so you have a better idea of what the item will look like once you equip it in-game!
There is also a brand new addition to the menu called The Locker. This is a great way to check out your huge collection of skins. Super useful when you want to act on your clan members …
Joking aside, the entire Skins Shop and Locker UI has been designed with our players in mind to make it as user friendly and easy as possible, but some changes could be made in the future based on player feedback so don’t be shy . If you want to see changes, please let us know!
We know that most of you are as excited as we are for the Skin Store to be released and we can’t wait to finally get it out for everyone. See you on the island, survivors!
